Hello!

Hi, I’m Yemisi Bokinni - a medical doctor turned health and science storyteller.

I hold degrees in Medicine and Human Genetics from King’s College London, and work across print, audio, and film to explore the intersection of science, medicine, and culture.

I’m a 2025 UN Foundation Press Fellow, and a recipient of the Wellcome Collection Non-Fiction Award, where I’m currently developing my debut narrative non-fiction book.

As a journalist, I contribute primarily to The BMJ (British Medical Journal).

My reporting has been recognised for its depth and real-world impact.
